When Certn came to us, they had just secured $42 million in capital. We remember Andrew McLeod, CEO of Certn saying that the best day of his life was the day they closed the $42 million financing. The worst day… was the next day when they had the pressure to execute and scale up.

Certn needed to expand their team very quickly. At the time, they were working with a handful of recruiting firms for different roles and trying to get the right hires in the door as fast as possible. Certn has now raised $108 million in funding, and on August 30, 2022 was named as British Columbia’s fastest growing company with:

  • Revenue grew from $56,000 in 2017 to $18.5 million in 2021.
  • 33,000% growth over 5-year period
  • Over 400 employees globally
